Information on Chaperones/Car Parking and Magazines

Magazines

Please note we are not able to accept donations of magazines for the waiting room due to infection control.

Car Parking

We have a very limited number of parking spaces, which are restricted for use by staff and the short-term use of the disabled and those whose illness prevents them from walking far. Please park responsibly.

CHAPERONES

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they consider one is required. The chaperone maybe a family member or friend, but on occasions a formal chaperone may be preferred.

Patients are advised to ask for a chaperone if required, at the time of booking an appointment, if possible, so that arrangements can be made and the appointment is not delayed in any way. The Healthcare Professional may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations. All staff have received chaperone training and understand the role of a chaperone.
