Enhanced Access

Enhanced Access Appointments - Great Oakley Medical Centre

We hold enhanced access appointments . We have a variety of appointment types available Friday mornings and Monday evenings. We do not offer weekend appointments. These appointments are bookable via reception only. 

Enhanced Access Appointments - Kettering Hub  

Enhanced access appointments are also available as a shared service with other surgeries in the area, these are held at Prospect House. 121 Lower Street, Kettering, Northants, NN16 8DN. These are only bookable via reception.  Please note when attending an enhanced access appointment you need to use the door to the rear of the building (Entrance 2) by pressing the buzzer. 

Appointments are available at the Hub in Kettering at the following times.

  • 4pm to 8pm Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm Saturday

A range of appointments are available at the HUB including the following:

GP - Any routine GP appointments

Nurse Practitioner - any acute minor illness

Paediatric Nurses - any acute illnesses in children between 0-5 years

Practice Nurse - Family planning, blood pressure checks, foot pulses check

Physiotherapy - a specialist assessment of any acute musculoskeletal condition (over 16years)

Mental Health Practitioner - acute anxiety, depression, stress reaction

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Practice Learning Time

In line with all practices in Northamptonshire the surgery closes one afternoon a month, from 12:30 until 18.30pm for Protected Learning Time.  This is an opportunity for practice staff to address their own learning and professional development needs.  It also allows time for the practice to reflect and discuss issues that have arisen, either as a whole practice team or in small groups
